Job Description:

The R&D Engineer will support research and development activities focused on the design, development, and validation of life sciences products. This role involves hands-on technical work, project support, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in product, material, or process design and development
  • Contribute to projects involving design, development, manufacture, validation, and documentation of life sciences products in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Maintain accurate project plans and records
  • provide progress updates as required
  • Support efforts to ensure products are fit for purpose, validated, and manufacturable
  • Collaborate with R&D team and cross-functional groups (Production, Sales, Suppliers)

Requirements:

  • MEng with placement year, OR BEng/MEng with 1–2 years of industry experience
  • Ability to analyse data and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Executing technical tasks and experiments with minimal supervision
  • Application of engineering and scientific principles to solve problems and analyse data
  • Maintaining accurate project plans and records
