Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Quotation Specialist supports our national corporate accounts by cross-referencing customer provided information with our historical product data to identify market basket opportunities. This role ensures we have a sufficient margin on products that are price fixed for a specific time period.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepares the customer's data to fit within our system standards
  • Cross-references customer data with our market basket tool to pull historical cost data on products
  • Obtains quoted costs from suppliers
  • Submits finalized data to be reviewed
  • Maintains vendor email information within a contact list
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Reviews and manipulates customers' data in various Microsoft Applications

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Significant knowledge of Motion Industries product
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective proofreading skills
  • Service oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
