Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity organization on a contract to permanent basis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple companies, supporting month-end close, and ensuring clean, timely reporting for ownership and leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, understands intercompany activity, and can keep books organized, reconciled, and audit-ready.

Job Responsibility

  • Support month-end close
  • Ensure clean, timely reporting for ownership and leadership

Requirements

  • Maintain general ledger for multiple legal entities using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop
  • Process full-cycle AP and AR, including invoice entry, billing, collections support, and vendor payments
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all entities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Support month-end close and prepare basic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Track and manage expenses, reimbursements, and company credit cards
  • Maintain organized documentation and support CPA, tax, and audit requests
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues
  • Assist with process improvements and accounting clean-up as needed
