We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our client's team as a QuickBooks Bookkeeper & Office Manager. This is a full-time, onsite position local to Orange, CT. The ideal candidate will bring strong QuickBooks bookkeeping expertise, experience managing office operations, and the ability to lead a small team effectively. Experience within a professional services environment is highly preferred.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Handle weekly payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Handle general office administration, including vendor coordination, supplies management, and maintaining office systems
Supervise and support a small administrative team, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices
Coordinate with external accountants and support audit processes as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience with QuickBooks (required)
3–5+ years of bookkeeping and office administration experience
Prior experience managing or supervising a team
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience in a professional services environment strongly preferred
