Job Description:

Adbri currently has an opportunity for a Quarry Worker to join the team in a full-time permanent role, operating a variety of mobile and fixed plant including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, water cart, service/fuel truck, and fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants. This role involves day or afternoon shift work Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays as required, within a friendly and supportive team where safety, flexibility and pride in doing a good job are valued.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure safety, health and environmental standards are maintained
  • Operate mobile plant and equipment
  • Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance
  • Occasional manual handling and general labouring

Requirements:

  • Current RII/VOC competencies preferred
  • Understanding of crushing and screening operations
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong commitment to health and safety and teamwork
