Job Description:

You’ll be responsible for the commercial side of wide ranging civils and utilities projects. Most projects are in the power or telecoms sector and are NEC3 based, although they also use NEC4 and JCT type contracts. The work will be predominantly office based although there will be the opportunity to travel to site when required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Quantity Surveying power and telecoms projects (usually NEC3 or NEC4 type contracts)
  • Producing weekly and monthly cost variance reports (CVRs)
  • Manage your own supply chain and take responsibility for cash flow
  • Recording and submitting any variations
  • Approving payments

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a QS in the utilities industry
  • Solid understanding of NEC3 contracts
