Job Responsibility:
Actively price materials and labour for responsive repairs workstream using SORs (Schedule of Rates)
Manage the financial performance of works to completion
Focus on reducing costs, improving efficiencies, and maximising value
Be responsible for the financial and technical aspects of the contract
Manage procurement, budget, direct labour targeting, subcontractor management, invoicing, payments, cash flow, and cost control
Work with direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring all work issued has labour targets to return agreed profit performance
Develop and maintain open and trusting relationships with the workforce, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client
Produce monthly contract valuations of the unit’s actual deliverables against the projected budget (CVRs)
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar commercial or Quantity Surveying role
Experience of working on Schedule of Rates (SORs) contract and with social housing clients
Proven ability to minimise cost and maximise value, profit, and cash flow
Strong IT and Microsoft excel skills
Ability to process high volumes of data analysis
Experience in working with direct labour and subcontract procurement
