The Role & Day-to-Day You will be stepping in to handle core commercial responsibilities, ensuring the smooth administrative and financial running of key project packages. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Administration: Manage variations, valuations, cost reporting, and necessary documentation with absolute precision. Subcontractor Management: Act as the main point of contact for subbies, assessing progress on-site and certifying payments. Day-to-Day QS Duties: Support the Senior Commercial team with daily ad-hoc tasks, cost control, and financial forecasting. What We Are Looking For An Eye for Detail: You spot the discrepancies others miss. Accuracy in data, contracts, and measurements is your priority. Proven Track Record: A CV demonstrating reliable, successful stints in previous QS roles (freelance or permanent). Experience: Prior experience working with a main contractor (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred) handling package management and commercial admin.
