Job Description:

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will support the wider commercial team on a number of exciting projects across Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to further progress your career, with the chance to work on a variety of different projects. The Main Contractor works on projects valued up to about £5m so similair experience is valued

Job Responsibility:

Managing a project's budget by creating cost estimates, monitoring spending, and producing financial reports to ensure it stays on track
Handling all legal and contractual aspects of a project, including reviewing contracts, managing sub-contractor payments, and resolving claims or disputes
Identifying and evaluating potential financial risks to the project and creating strategies to minimise them, thereby protecting the contractor's profit
Subcontractor procurement for various packages across a projects lifecycle

Requirements:

2-3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Ability to use Microsoft Office and bespoke packages
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and can work to tight deadlines
Willingness to undertake training and development to further progress your career
Experience working on projects up to £5m
