A respected, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is currently seeking a confident Quantity Surveyor to join their central London team. Known for their hands-on, director-led approach, this well-established practice delivers high-quality cost consultancy services across sectors including residential, commercial, heritage, and education. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, working on a varied portfolio of London-based projects from initial feasibility through to final account. The successful candidate will join a supportive team offering strong progression opportunities, APC mentorship, and exposure to both traditional and modern methods of construction.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare cost plans, budgets, and detailed estimates
Draft and manage tender documentation and procurement processes
Conduct valuations, assess variations, and manage cost reporting
Provide contract administration support (JCT / NEC)
Attend client and design team meetings
Contribute to risk and value management processes
Support junior team members and APC candidates where appropriate
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a consultancy environment
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS accredited)
Working knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
Experience across residential and commercial projects (London focus advantageous)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Working towards or recently achieved MRICS preferred
