Quantity Surveyor

• Manage contract/project performance including CVR reviews
• Review contracts and support with mitigating risk
• Report on and challenge performance for project cashflows and profitability
• Subcontractor management
• Preparation and review of subcontract documents and assessment of quotations for onboarding
• Manage and track project changes, variations and/or notices
• Assess and value variations and compensation events
• Support the Commercial Manager with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement of business processes
• Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts
• Attend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the Client
• Be actively involved with tenders and pricing
• Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects

• Confident
• Good understanding of MTC contracts and the Property Services Agency schedule of rates preferably within an MOD environment (whilst not essential)
• Self-motivated
• Background in a commercial or finance role
• Must take pride in your work and recognise improvement opportunities
