Job Description:

An established and ambitious property consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their cost management team in Leeds. The role involves delivering high-profile development schemes across sectors including office, industrial, retail, leisure, student accommodation, and residential. The position also offers business development and project delivery opportunities within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Leading cost management services across multiple development sectors
Managing client relationships and providing strategic commercial advice
Overseeing feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement, and contract administration
Mentoring junior team members and supporting team development
Working alongside agency and development colleagues on integrated project solutions
Representing the business in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Chartered (MRICS) or working towards completion
Strong background in residential and commercial development projects
Confident managing projects from inception to completion
Excellent understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently while supporting wider team goals
