Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar related subject
Some previous Quantity Surveying or Commercial Contract Management work experience
Working knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally with specific focus on the NEC forms of contract
Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to communicate confidently and work well under pressure
Hands on with a can-do attitude and excellent work ethic and the ability to work within a team and autonomously
Locally based or willing to be based on site

Job Responsibility

Work with the Commercial Manager and Project Controls team support the delivery of the commercial function of the framework
Develop in person working relationships with Amentum, Client and Subcontract teams to effectively deliver contract requirements
Execution of NEC3 forms of contract activities including preparation of applications for payment, tracking pricing and implementation of change, supporting drafting of early warnings
Gathering evidence to support main contract applications and fulfilling contract audit requirements
Provide support for Project Controls and Cost Engineers in order to submit cost reports for review by the Commercial Manager, to enable the utilisation of the data for cost forecasts, revenue, and gross margin assumptions/submissions
Ensure Sub-Contract arrangements are put in place when required using the NEC suite of Contract Documents
Ensure correct administrative processes are put in place for management of these Sub-Contracts paying attention to change controls, early warning, compensation events, changes to scope of works and payment
