Job Responsibility:
Budgeting: Preparing and reporting on project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
Contract Management: Negotiating variations and change orders under NEC and FIDIC frameworks
Procurement: Overseeing subcontracting from tender through to final accounts
Leadership: Mentoring junior staff and fostering a high-performing commercial culture
Collaboration: Liaising with engineers and planners to ensure total project alignment
Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and Chartered status (RICS/CIOB)
Substantial experience in heavy industry, power, or major civil engineering projects
Deep knowledge of NEC 3/4, FIDIC, and/or JCT contracts
A valid driving licence and your own vehicle
Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage complex stakeholders
