Job Description

A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester, with travel across Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a supportive and diverse environment.

Job Responsibility

Play a key role on a variety of public sector projects, including works for the defence sector, police stations, and wider governmental frameworks
Involve both pre- and post-contract duties, cost planning, preparing tender documents, and client liaison
Manage own workload with support from senior team members, while liaising directly with clients and attending site visits

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' UK consultancy or client-side experience
BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Working towards or keen to achieve MRICS chartership
Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
Willingness to travel across Lancashire and wider North West
Previous experience on public sector projects desirable
Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
