Job Description

A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester, with travel across Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a supportive and diverse environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Play a key role on a variety of public sector projects, including works for the defence sector, police stations, and wider governmental frameworks
  • Involve both pre- and post-contract duties, cost planning, preparing tender documents, and client liaison
  • Manage own workload with support from senior team members, while liaising directly with clients and attending site visits

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' UK consultancy or client-side experience
  • BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Working towards or keen to achieve MRICS chartership
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
  • Willingness to travel across Lancashire and wider North West
  • Previous experience on public sector projects desirable
  • Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
