Job Description:

We are seeking a sharp M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of high-value HVAC, electrical, and plumbing packages from tender to final account. Location Central London.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead tender analysis and produce robust initial estimates for complex M&E systems
  • Oversee post-contract valuations, monitor cash flow, and maintain strict cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Proactively manage variations and negotiate commercial outcomes with clients and subcontractors
  • Drive the successful settlement of final accounts, ensuring all commercial obligations are met

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, Power, Fire & Security, Public Health)
  • Strong working knowledge of standard commercial contracts (e.g., JCT or NEC)
  • Skilled at working alongside designers and project managers to balance technical requirements with budget constraints
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
