A dynamic and forward-thinking construction consultancy is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term progression in a collaborative and sustainability-driven environment. The role involves working across a broad portfolio including education, local authority, mixed-use, and regeneration projects, with exposure to wider project and contract management responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Producing cost plans, BOQs, valuations, and final accounts
Supporting projects from inception to completion
Assisting with Contract Administration and Project Management
Working closely with clients and internal teams
Supporting life cycle costing and sustainability-led initiatives
Managing multiple projects and contributing to business development
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK consultancy environment
Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts preferred
Strong IT, communication, and organisational skills
Experience with public sector/local authority projects advantageous
Interest in sustainability, MEP, or life cycle costing is a plus
Working towards MRICS or similar professional qualification desirable
