Job Description:

Quantity Surveyor to join our Power Technologies team for the construction of the Adamow Power Plant in Metlen. In this role, you will ensure accuracy, compliance with contracts, and timely monitoring of project costs and quantities. You will also manage BOQ records, support cost audits, and collaborate with Project Management, Finance, Procurement, and site teams to continuously improve cost control and reporting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Monitoring and controlling quantities and costs against the BOQ
Verifying contractor claims and invoices for accuracy
Updating and maintaining BOQ records throughout the project lifecycle
Supporting project managers with cost reports, forecasts, and budget analysis
Coordinating with Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, and Finance to ensure alignment across project activities
Identifying discrepancies, cost overruns, or savings opportunities and reporting them proactively

Requirements:

Strong understanding of BOQ, construction cost control, and contract management
2-3 years of work experience
Experience in verifying quantities, preparing cost reports, and handling variations
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams
Proficiency in cost control software and MS Excel

Nice to have:

Preferably as a site engineer
