Job Description:

An established and well-regarded Chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in York. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for flexibility, strong career development, and involvement in a wide variety of interesting projects. The role offers a mix of pre and post-contract responsibilities across a diverse portfolio and provides a clear path for progression with structured support towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior colleagues on projects ranging from £250k to £20m
Pre and post-contract responsibilities across a diverse portfolio, including hospitality (bars, pubs, restaurants), retail (shop fit-outs), industrial (warehouses and distribution centres), private residential developments, office (new build and fit-out), and education (private and further education)

Requirements:

RICS Accredited degree (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or relevant field)
Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy / PQS firm
Good knowledge of pre & post contract duties
MRICS or currently working towards / committed to achieving (support available)
Confident & client facing
