Job Description:

A well-established, international construction consultancy known for delivering large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team. This is a client-facing role suited to a proactive Quantity Surveyor with consultancy experience who is confident managing projects across both pre and post contract stages.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare detailed cost plans, tender documentation and procurement strategies
  • Manage and monitor project budgets, variations and change control
  • Assess contractor and consultant payment applications
  • Support post-contract cost reporting and final account agreements
  • Attend client and design team meetings, offering commercial insight
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain high service standards

Requirements:

  • Around 3+ years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side role
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related RICS-accredited discipline
  • Working towards MRICS (or recently chartered)
  • Strong understanding of both pre and post contract stages
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or residential projects
  • Confident communicator with a professional, client-facing approach
