Quantity Surveyor

• Reporting to the Commercial Manager
• Administration and commercial management of multiple subcontract work packages from procurement to final account
• Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), financial forecasts, and cost reports
• Management and negotiation of variations, claims, and final accounts with subcontractors and the client
• Assisting in the production and issue of commercial notices to both the Client and Subcontractors
• Working to maintain profit and margin targets across assigned packages

• Experience working for a Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor is preferred
• Experience working on projects £20m-£50m
• Ability to manage and commercially control multiple, complex work packages at one time
• Experience in highend projects, including heritage, refurbishment, or complex new build schemes is beneficial
• Good contractual knowledge and negotiation skills
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline
