Job Responsibility:

  • Initial budgets and benchmarking
  • Elemental and trade-based cost plans
  • Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pre-tender estimates
  • Tender analysis and methodology advice
  • Bank reports and draw-down recommendations
  • Value engineering (challenging client views when appropriate to ensure excellence)
  • Variation valuations and progress claim recommendations

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of local experience within a similar consultancy firm
  • An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Proficiency in CostX (or similar) and Excel is essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • must be comfortable advising high-level stakeholders
  • Graduate of an accredited Quantity Surveyor degree course
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in Australia as a client-side QS
