Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and complete tenders and tender documents for subcontractors
  • Assess subcontractor costs to ensure compliance with tender requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to optimise project costs
  • Uphold HSQE policies and procedures for your team
  • Lead cost management efforts, including valuations, cost control, and payment certification
  • Ensure compliance with equal opportunities and health and safety policies
  • Achieve best value in all development aspects
  • Manage specific project budgets and contract administration
  • Conduct financial reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare specifications and schedules of work to improve project delivery
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the organisation, establishing strong client relationships

Requirements

  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Chartered member of RICS or CIOB or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a construction organisation
  • Strong background in cost management, budget management, and financial reporting
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in preparing tender documentation and specifications
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Nice to have

Experience work for a small-medium sized contractor is ideal
