The Quantity Surveyor inputs and accounts the works performed by Subcontractors in the specific data base, and handles any deviations from budget values.
Job Responsibility:
Check in detail the accounting submitted by the Subcontractors for "unit prices Subcontracts"
verify quantities
Ensure the correct application of unit prices and ensure the accuracy of all calculations
Assist the Subcontracts Administration Manager with the evaluation and verification of extra works and obtain the Client’s approval
Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with other Subcontract Administration activities as required
Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with the preparation of backup documents for the Payment Certificates
Expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from Subcontractors
Maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents
Requirements:
University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size
Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities
Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the specific discipline
Experience working on Contractor side
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, management skills
Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
