Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor inputs and accounts the works performed by Subcontractors in the specific data base, and handles any deviations from budget values.

Job Responsibility

  • Check in detail the accounting submitted by the Subcontractors for "unit prices Subcontracts"
  • verify quantities
  • Ensure the correct application of unit prices and ensure the accuracy of all calculations
  • Assist the Subcontracts Administration Manager with the evaluation and verification of extra works and obtain the Client’s approval
  • Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with other Subcontract Administration activities as required
  • Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with the preparation of backup documents for the Payment Certificates
  • Expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from Subcontractors
  • Maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents

Requirements

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size
  • Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities
  • Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the specific discipline
  • Experience working on Contractor side
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, management skills
  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
