The business delivers healthcare and commercial refurbishment and new build projects under JCT and NEC contracts, with typical project values ranging from £2m to £10m. The role is office-based in Coulsdon with regular site visits across London and the Home Counties, particularly Surrey and London. Job Responsibility

  • Commercial management of healthcare refurbishment and new build projects valued between £2m and £10m
  • Cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
  • Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Commercial reporting and cost and value reconciliation
  • Risk management and change control
  • Close liaison with site teams, consultants and clients
  • Supporting junior members of the commercial team where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction discipline
  • Healthcare project experience is essential
  • Experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects with a main contractor
