Job Description

Susquehanna is looking for penultimate year students interested in using decision science to solve problems to join our 2026 Quantitative Trader Internship Program. The internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about quantitative trading, combining classroom and on the 'trading desk' training to provide deep exposure to trading.

Job Responsibility

  • Learn about quantitative trading

  • Work closely with traders on real-world projects that directly impact the trading business

Requirements

  • Penultimate Year Student: Confirmed plan to graduate by December 2027 with a degree in any discipline (most typically STEM), Distinction average WAM, from an Australian or New Zealand University
  • Numerate + Logical: use clear and sound reasoning, rational, like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions
  • Problem Solvers: enjoy solving puzzles and discovering solutions to difficult problems
  • Communicators: enjoy building relationships, sharing ideas, expressing thoughts, and listening to the views of others
