Job Description:

We are looking for a Quantitative Researcher Analyst to join our team in London. Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining statistical, AI based models and create innovative trading solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Observe and implement analytic models improving our algorithmic trading performance
  • Provide insights into area of expertise
  • Understand key aspects of the microstructure of the region
  • Understand how clients wish to use our products and why
  • Understand how our algos are using the models that quantitative research team develops and maintains
  • Constantly keep up to date with latest research development in algo-equity markets
  • Think analytically and propose innovative solutions to trading challenges
  • Provide advisory support to coverage and algo-dev teams on the quantitative/AI models we use
  • Proactively identify operational and analytical risks and control deficiencies in our model
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
  • Escalate operational and key person risk events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly

Requirements:

  • BA, BSc or Msc (Engineering, Computer Science or Financial Mathematics desired)
  • Proficient in Python and KDB/Time series data
  • Solid understanding of equity capital markets
  • Experience in Statistical Model Development
  • Notable experience in a similar role

  • Bsc in relevant degree
