We are looking for a Quantitative Market Modeling Specialist to join our team and play a key role in developing forecasting models, trading strategies, and analytical solutions for commodities and energy markets. This role is central to supporting operational optimization, data-driven decision-making, and the development of scalable analytical models and data architectures. The successful candidate will contribute to forecasting activities, market analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within multidisciplinary environments combining engineering, data, and business perspectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement forecasting models for commodities markets
  • Develop and implement trading strategies for commodities
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to support operational optimization
  • Support the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and analytical models
  • Participate in model validation, testing, and performance monitoring activities
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of data and system architectures
  • Stay up to date with advancements in energy systems modelling, forecasting techniques, and digital energy platforms

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related scientific fields
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience working with complex datasets
  • Programming experience in Python or similar languages
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments combining engineering, data, and business perspectives
  • Experience in the implementation of forecasting models, including energy production, demand, or market forecasting
  • Experience in energy markets, renewable energy systems, or system operations will be highly valued
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, system integration, and applied modelling techniques
