We are partnering with a prominent global consultancy that specializes in digital transformation and strategic support for the financial services and fintech sectors. Drive systematic trading analytics and risk modeling across a multi-asset desk encompassing FX, indices, and derivatives. Engineer and execute backtesting frameworks to assess P&L impact, capital efficiency, and risk constraints for hedging strategies. Create and validate quantitative models for flow toxicity, client classification, and market-making signals. Develop tactical decision-support tools and real-time dashboards for position monitoring and predictive 'what-if' analysis. Analyze complex market flows across spot and structured products to optimize market-making outcomes. Collaborate with risk and dealing teams to transform market requirements into actionable quantitative frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in algorithmic trading, market-making, or a desk-based quantitative research role

  • Advanced expertise in time-series statistics, backtesting methodologies, and P&L analytics
  • Demonstrated experience building functional tools or dashboards tailored for traders and dealers
  • Familiarity with trade surveillance, flow analysis, or the mechanics of market-making
  • Knowledge of traditional markets like FX and equities is required, while exposure to crypto markets is a plus
