The Quality Technician ensures the quality of products and processes by conducting incoming part inspections, running production part and process checks, confirming the integrity of quality documentation, and managing test equipment calibrations. This is a hands-on, multifaceted role in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility and adaptability are key.
Job Responsibility
Perform inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards
Ensure that required documentation from suppliers is provided and accurate
Support First Article Inspections by conducting inspections and documentation checks
Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
Perform product checks on in-house production parts
Identify any deviations and support implementation of corrective actions
Audit the production documentation to ensure that requirements are met
Assist the development of inspection plans and quality control processes to define acceptance and rejection criteria for both vendor supplied and in-house production parts
Maintain and manage test equipment, ensuring it is calibrated, validated, and in proper working order at all times
Work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and quality enhancements
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met across the entire production cycle

Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
