Job Description:

We are now seeking a Quality Technician for our Alleima Precision Tube site in Scottdale, PA, USA. We are a plant specializing in producing high-precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products for various highly demanding industries, including aerospace, transportation, nuclear, and petrochemical.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform routine mechanical tests on produced tubing (flare, flatten, flanging)
  • Review samples against Lab Sample Sheets for accuracy and conformance
  • Prepare subcontractor purchase orders for required testing
  • Review and approve subcontractor test results
  • Prepare preliminary test reports
  • Review accuracy and completeness of manufacturing packets and final test certifications
  • Sign off and release final certification packets
  • Review shop routers against customer purchase orders
  • Prepare quality test plans
  • Release routers to Production
  • Maintain Calibration Program for Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE)
  • Assist in formulation, maintenance, and compliance of QA Manual, QA Procedures, and Work Instructions
  • Support during internal audits, customer audits, and quality-related activities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Utilize measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment
  • Record and analyze inspection and test data
  • Participate in or lead root-cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Drive or support continuous improvement projects
  • Provide guidance, training, and technical support to team members
