Job Description

Supervise Quality inspection responsibilities for auditor team to maintain product quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Act as a liaison with Production and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve Production process Quality as directed by Quality Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise an Auditor team, which includes managing time & attendance, developing skills and responsibilities, coaching, and other people management tasks
  • Enforce Quality requirements and standards for manufacturing products including inspection areas in Production
  • Develop and maintain standard work and schedules for Auditor team
  • Lead and participate in problem solving events responding to both non-conforming material and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Update work instructions, forms and other documents to maintain the Quality System
  • Maintain documentation, non-conforming material log, and issue tracking for activities including layered process audits, gemba walks and start-up or shut-down checklist reviews
  • Support a 24/7 operation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 year’s supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • ISO/QS 9001 systems knowledge

Nice to have

  • Engineering or Management Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior Quality supervision experience
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor
