Job Description:

European Quality and Dordrecht Plant supervisor is responsible for leading all quality-related activities for the European plants, ensuring full compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. This includes managing PPAP, APQP, and FMEA processes, coordinating audits and certifications, updating and interpreting automotive standards and sanctions, and driving continuous improvement (A3). The role acts as a key link between customers, production, and corporate quality functions. He/ She will act as a supervisor for the Dordrecht plant and will report the EMEA Quality Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage PPAP submissions and approvals with customers
  • Conduct and maintain FMEA and Control Plans with cross-functional teams
  • Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 certification and internal audit programs
  • Interpret and implement standard and sanction updates for IATF and ISO 9001
  • Coordinate APQP activities and support product launches
  • Manage 8D reports for internal and external customer issues
  • Lead and monitor A3 continuous improvement projects
  • Serve as internal audit coordinator and communicate updates to the organization
  • Provide backup support for other quality engineers and quality manager
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure robust process control
  • Supervise, train and evaluate quality team
  • Define KPIs, analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage the plant quality assurance budget

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in customer quality, process, or production within the automotive industry
  • 2-3 years in supervisory or team lead positions
  • IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 Internal auditor
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead certification processes, standard updates, and audit coordination
  • Experience with Major OEMs or Tier 1 Suppliers
