Job Description:

My client, a company specializing in the development of biotechnological solutions, is seeking a Quality Specialist for a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the selected candidate will play a key role in quality control of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. The role also involves implementing and maintaining the quality management system based on ISO standards, while working closely with production, R&D, and management teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Document and interpret microbiological and physico-chemical analysis results
Participate in non-conformity management, CAPA, and root cause analysis
Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and SOP updates
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and applicable regulations (GHS, WHMIS, REACH)
Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, client, regulatory)
Support Production and R&D teams on quality-related matters

Requirements:

College diploma (DEC or AEC) in Laboratory Techniques, Chemistry, or a related field
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control environment
Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO, WHMIS, REACH)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
