Job Description:

To manage and support colleagues under your responsibility in the goods flow team in order to coordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and support colleagues in the goods flow team
  • Coordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store
  • Act as representative in discussions with HR regarding training programs
  • Enhance workplace safety within the logistics department
  • Ensure all logistics equipment and fleet vehicles are maintained, safe, and operational
  • Provide training and coaching on safe and proper use of equipment
  • Support process improvement by identifying technical solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and analyse equipment performance data
  • Safeguard quality of all logistics processes
  • Secure logistics operation according to regulations and mandatories
  • Ensure condition of products is neat, clean and tidy
  • Be ambassador for highest possible quality perception
  • Secure implementation of Supply Quality way of working
  • Work with business, supply chain partners and external service providers
  • Lead goods flow co-workers to work in compliance with safety regulations
  • Ensure handling equipment inspections are conducted
  • Assess goods flow processes in health, safety and quality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail and/or logistics
  • Proven team management skills
  • Experience as a trainer in coaching employees on proper and efficient use of equipment
  • Ability to develop the business, deliver result, lead, and develop people together
  • Experience of implementing action plans, providing clear direction and follow up goals
  • Ability to lead based on performing and delivering through team/stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in different situations
  • Ability to manage a high volume and agile retail environment
  • Ability to follow up and optimize operational performance while considering tactical plans
  • Understanding of how safety engagement/work positively affects the IKEA BRAND
