Job Description:

Helps Quality Team with Implementation of the quality management strategy for all products and services that meets business objectives. Provides strategic oversight for health care quality Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs) and initiatives aligned with all business lines and projects with organizational strategies and values.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prioritizes and makes recommendations for the design, development, and implementation strategy of quality improvement projects, and initiatives
  • Leads all Performance Improvement workgroups, data collection, monitors status of initiatives/programs and completes State/HSAG PIP templates for submission
  • Assists Senior Quality Manager and Director with coordination and implementation of interventions to increase HEDIS, CAHPS, AAA, P4P Metric improvement projects and designated health measures for the Plan
  • Develops documentation templates and systems to support and monitor QM projects and initiatives
  • Support the coordination of corporate compliance and external surveys as needed
  • Support the project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, manage resources, MDHHS compliance projects, and facilitate project execution, deployment, and closure
  • Assists with coordination of data requests and ongoing data management for PIP and QI project management
  • Participate in vendor oversight meetings with contracted vendors
  • Assists with leading cross functional teams to assist business units in integrating quality into their strategic and operational plans
  • Provides updates to Director and leadership on assigned projects in the Quality Improvement work plan
  • may be required to draft presentations on project status and/or outcomes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years clinical and/or managed care experience in the healthcare industry and quality management preferred
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification

Nice to have:

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Professional Project Management Certification
  • Proficient with Project Management tools and tracking systems
  • Adept at collaboration, execution and delivery
