As a Quality Program Manager on our team, you will lead advance project quality activities for new projects, maintaining communication between OEM, company project team and manufacturing facilities. Implement APQP strategies to achieve flawless customer launches and mitigate risks at the earliest opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Define Quality Safe Launch Plan for all new Projects including the APQP
Be the Voice of the Quality in the Project review meetings
Participate on product, process and Design Reviews
PDP gates reviews
Operational gates reviews
Interact effectively at all levels, and across all functions to assure proper escalation of issues that can impact flawless launches, PDP gates and actively participate to problem solving process
Assure that Production Readiness Assessment is planned and executed for all projects and business transfers
Assure appropriate AQP communication plan with customer (support, frequency, deliverables,…) and internally
Monitor AQP Activities for the projects
Assure that project declaration metrics are defined, monitored and actions are taken to achieve targets
Assure that all Project Quality related customer visits / audits at the plant are prepared and accompanied properly
Train, develop and empower AQP Teams in both their technical and supervisory roles
Make sure CRA analysis is done correctly. Component related quality risks are addressed to PFMEA and control plan
Active involvement to PPAP approval
Requirements:
3<5 years of automotive engineering/quality or similar skills
Strong relationship building and Communication skills
Experience with leading a team
Independent, as well as a Team Player
Flexible, structured, punctual, well organized
No restriction for travel - expected travel locally and internationally (80% of role)
Local Language, Advanced English and knowledge in Korean and Chinese languages would be a bonus
Computer literacy skills i.e. Microsoft Office, etc.
Ability to read an engineering drawing
Nice to have:
