Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Production Specialist tojoin the Helena Quality Material Review Board Delegate(MRBD) team located in Helena, Montana for 2nd shift. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate and Experienced Lean Practitioner. The Quality Production Specialist develops and administers the quality system that ensures and manages the integrity of company products and services related to commercial airplanes. In this role, the candidate will be expected to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including program executives; track and manage investigations; analyze quality metrics and calibration equipment/software; conduct audits to ensure compliance; review non-conformance records; and complete Root Cause Corrective Actions. Job Responsibility:
Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations
Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent recurrence
Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution
Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectively to ensure completion
Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the parties responsible for internal/external distribution
Works under general direction
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
3+ years of experience in conducting a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) associated with a complex technical issue
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Nice to have:
3+ years of experience in verification of requirements (command media)
3+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
1+ years of experience assisting in the flow down quality requirements within the build plan
1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
