The Quality Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality management within the product development process and supervising assigned quality management specialist topics. The role focuses on supporting plants in achieving quality targets through quality controlling and the implementation of quality planning initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Managing QM sub-projects or work packages within development projects, initiatives, and product life cycle changes
Checking customer requirements and standards to ensure they are economically feasible within the scope of quality planning
Planning both development- and customer-specific quality management measures
Creating QM documents and providing support with sampling
Providing supervision and quality controlling support to plants to help achieve quality targets
Participating in the organization and execution of audits
Handling specific tasks that arise within development initiatives, projects, or QM procedures
Executing additional tasks related to specialist roles, such as being an FMEA specialist or a Q-Auditor, as individually agreed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree is required (technical / economical background)
At least 3-4 years of professional experience is preferred (in quality or from product or development areas)
Essential expertise in English AND German
Broad job knowledge of theories and principles within the quality management discipline or advanced knowledge of technical/operational practices
Ability to handle difficult problems that require understanding other disciplines and reaching agreements through flexibility and compromise
