Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Quality & Performance Manager (REMOTE) to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX). We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead and manage the Quality Assurance function within our software development organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in QA processes and software testing, with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of modern development methodologies. Remote role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the overall QA strategy and testing processes
  • Lead and manage the QA team, including test engineers and automation specialists
  • Plan, estimate, and oversee all testing activities across multiple projects
  • Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery of releases
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and quality metrics
  • Oversee test automation initiatives and promote best practices
  • Manage defect tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality policies
  • Identify risks related to quality and define mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software QA/testing, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategies, and best practices
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or other modern development methodologies
  • Proven experience managing QA teams and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience with CI/CD environments and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB certification or similar
  • Experience in performance, security, or API testing
