As a Quality Manager, you will create and lead the Quality direction in the Supply Area based upon the relevant IKEA directions, strategies, and matrix inputs and guided by our culture and values. The Quality Manager will support the Business units in their daily work and verify compliance against relevant requirements, standards, and working methods. They will inspire and empower teams and co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.
Job Responsibility:
create and lead the Quality direction in the Supply Area
support the Business units in their daily work and verify compliance against relevant requirements, standards, and working methods
inspire and empower teams and co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments
lead the Planning and Execution Process (PEP) for Quality in the Supply Area
deliver to the Supply Area roadmap and associated assignments connected to Quality
effectively and efficiently plan and allocate the quality resources within your team
foster a proactive 'can do' approach and actively drive the leadership and competence agenda within the Supply Area
secure the competences and competence development for the Quality functions
constantly explore ways to simplify the ways of working, processes, frameworks, and tools
work closely with other Quality Managers in the Quality Manager’s matrix
collaborate with our IKEA stakeholders, Business Units, and partners
support the business teams and IKEA partners with Quality knowledge, coaching’s, and trainings
Requirements:
high energy to drive and delivery results and support success of others
highly motivated in securing excellence and compliance in operations
desire and drive to find common interests and agenda, to build trust and partnership to reach common goals
high curiosity with an innate desire to find better ways
understanding of IKEA business model and total cost approach in IKEA
experience in leadership and people management
good business experience, knowledge of IKEA product requirements and IKEA Quality Compliance working methods
good understanding of Purchasing Development teams and suppliers daily operational activities
understanding of Quality systems and/or production processes
