The Quality Manager leads and oversees the Quality team and Quality Management System processes while focusing on implementing and improving quality strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and industry standards (i.e., ISO 9001:2015)
Lead the preparation and execution of ISO 9001:2015 audits, including both internal and external audits
Train and guide staff on quality management principles and practices to foster a quality-driven culture
Monitor, measure, and report on quality performance and compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality objectives into business processes and product development
Manage the document control system to ensure all quality documentation is accessible, current, and compliant with standards and regulations
Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis activities to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and external auditors regarding the QMS
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or other related technical field
At least 10 years of quality experience, a portion of which has been in a leadership role
Recognized quality certification (e.g., CQA, CQE, etc.) is highly desirable
Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics
Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement strategic solutions
