Job Description

iBUILT is currently accepting applications for a Quality Manager to work as an integral part of our Production Team in Berwick, PA. The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing, planing, and coordinating to ensure all necessary quality measures and processes are introduced and implemented for production needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement key quality performance indicators
  • Develop and implement business flow process charts
  • Develop and implement time and process standards for the factory
  • Define and implement processes and actions to ensuring planned KPI’s are met or exceeded
  • Define and implement documentation and record retention standards
  • Define and implement quality assurance standards and practices
  • Develop and implement department policy and procedures around: Operations, Safety and environment processes, Supply chain management, Compliance identification and conformance – training
  • Adhere and utilize safety and environmental functions including: Program requirements identification, Training and compliance requirements, Safety and environmental process development, Documentation and record retention standards, OSHA recording and record keeping identification and implementation, EPA (local and federal) recording and record keeping identification and implementation
  • Process optimization utilization around: Assembly and sub-assembly process definition and controls, Automation analysis and implementation, Job safety analysis, Standard work development, Supervisory and operator training, Material and process flow
  • Quality optimization around, but not limited to: Quality standards, Inspection system requirements, Control of non-conforming process, Corrective action process: Documentation, Evaluation, Follow-up, Validation, Closure, Statistical analysis of inspection

Requirements

  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong change leadership skills, customer focus
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma, and APQP
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Quality and business acumen
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to a dynamic environment

  • 20+ years of experience in establishing and managing quality Assurance structure and programs in a manufacturing environment
  • Use of 8D NCR or similar tool
  • Must have advanced experience and be proficient using MS Office, primarily Excel and Word
  • Forklift certification required
  • if candidate is not certified, must be willing to complete certification program with/at iBUILT
  • SAP system experience a plus
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at time
