Quality Manager

• Lead, maintain and continually improve the Integrated Management System in line with relevant ISO and regulatory standards
• Act as management representative for quality and environmental matters, liaising with regulatory bodies as required
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and deliver sustainability strategies aligned to ESG objectives
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain external accreditations (e.g. ISO standards, sustainability ratings)
• Drive the organisation’s Net Zero roadmap, including carbon reduction plans and Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions management across multiple UK sites
• Oversee quality assurance processes for raw materials and finished goods, supporting an Industry 4.0 approach
• Lead Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives, embedding a culture of operational excellence
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects through to production in collaboration with commercial and technical teams
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs, and identify training needs to support effective system delivery

• Minimum five years’ experience in a Quality and/or Environmental Manager role within manufacturing or engineering
• Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quality, Environmental Management or similar
• Strong experience leading internal and external audits and managing ISO-based systems (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor desirable)
• Proven track record delivering ESG, environmental or sustainability initiatives
• Experience implementing Net Zero or carbon reduction programmes (advantageous)
• Demonstrable success leading Lean or Continuous Improvement projects
• Experience managing and developing teams with the ability to influence at all levels
