Job Description:

SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a quality manager to oversee the implementation and upkeep of the QMS whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead an experienced quality engineering team responsible for enabling product and process compliance to relevant industry standards
  • Heavily involved in the development of the organisation's quality management system (QMS) according to ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Lead all quality assurance activities including inspections, audits and product testing
  • Ensure relevant documentation is maintained accurately
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers ensuring quality issues are addressed appropriately

Requirements:

  • Management and development of quality management systems - AS9100 standard Desirable
  • Team management experience
  • Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
  • Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide range of customers and suppliers
