As the Quality Manager for Team Doyak, KellyDeli’s innovation incubator, your mission is to be the bridge between visionary creativity and operational excellence. You will manage and implement our quality policy across new concepts and points of sale, ensuring that as we push boundaries, we never compromise on safety. The goal is to enable rapid innovation by providing the safety frameworks that allow new ideas to flourish. You will oversee the Food Safety management system, ensuring it is agile enough for an incubator environment while remaining strictly compliant with regulations. You are the company’s spokesperson toward local food safety authorities and retailers, advocating for our innovative processes through the lens of rigorous quality standards.
Job Responsibility:
Enable Innovation: Partner with the Team Doyak incubator to validate new products, equipment, and processes, ensuring they are 'safe by design' from the prototype stage to roll-out. Create a path for this innovation to seed back into wider Kellydeli when applicable
Strategy Implementation: Create and deliver an action plan to implement food safety strategies tailored to the fast-moving incubator environment
Field Support & Training: Provide hands-on support to local teams, fostering a culture where quality is seen as an enabler of innovation rather than a barrier
Audits & Evolution: Conduct periodic audits of existing and pilot points of sale, using data to continuously improve both the concept and safety protocols
Compliance Management: Maintain an up-to-date regulatory survey to ensure that new ingredients, labels, and purchasing channels meet all legal requirements
HACCP Leadership: Act as the HACCP representative for Team Doyak, updating studies and validating the shelf life of raw materials and finished products for local developments
Stakeholder Representation: Represent KellyDeli with external auditors and food safety authorities, confidently explaining our innovative methods
Supplier Quality: Conduct regular supplier audits for new or specialty ingredients required by the incubator
QMS Documentation: Update Quality Management System documentation dynamically as brand or regulations evolve
Requirements:
Proven track record in a similar role within food/hospitality or food production
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Food Safety, Quality Management, or equivalent
Expert knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and both EU and national food safety regulations
Strong background in fresh food, raw fish, and production environments
Fluent in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel for field-testing new concepts
Nice to have:
Experience in an R&D or startup environment is a major plus
