We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a major UK infrastructure project within the Supplier Quality function. This role sits within the wider Quality Delivery team responsible for ensuring quality performance and compliance across a complex global supply chain. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the Supply Chain Audit Programme, providing assurance that suppliers understand and implement project quality requirements effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, prepare and deliver supply chain quality audits in line with the annual Supply Chain Audit Schedule
Review supplier processes, documentation and quality systems to ensure compliance with project and contractual quality requirements
Produce clear audit reports detailing findings, actions and improvement opportunities
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to internal teams and supply chain partners
Manage and track audit findings through to resolution
Analyse audit outcomes and contribute to future audit planning and supplier development initiatives
Work closely with programme teams to identify risk areas and quality improvement opportunities
Requirements:
Experience conducting quality or supply chain audits within highly regulated industries (e.g. Nuclear, Energy, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Aerospace or Defence)
Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit methodologies
Experience working with large engineering or infrastructure supply chains
Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
Willingness to travel internationally to supplier locations and project sites when required
