They are seeking a Quality Control Manager to be based in Jeddah, responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role is critical in maintaining rigorous quality standards, optimizing production processes, and minimizing risks across the supply chain. Success will be defined by the ability to implement robust quality systems, lead high-performing teams, and consistently deliver products that meet both internal and regulatory standards. This is a senior, operational leadership role with full ownership of quality control across manufacturing facilities. The role will oversee quality planning, compliance, process optimization, and team development while working closely with production, R&D, and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening quality culture, ensuring audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Responsibility
Develop and implement quality standards, specifications, and control systems across raw materials and production processes
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Oversee quality planning and ensure consistent product quality across all manufacturing lines
Establish and manage process mapping and statistical process control (SPC) across operations
Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards including ISO, HACCP, and regulatory requirements
Manage third-party audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring full compliance and timely closure of action items
Oversee incoming material inspection, supplier quality, and approval processes
Lead new product development quality validation and production line commissioning activities
Build and develop a high-performing QC team through training, coaching, and performance management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality culture and operational efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience in quality control within the food or FMCG industry
6+ years of non-managerial experience in food manufacturing or production environments
Strong expertise in QC/QA, production processes, and quality systems within FMCG
Knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRC, HACCP, and Saudi regulatory standards
Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and manage teams effectively
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in English and strong computer skills, including SAP
Arabic language skills and Saudi market experience are highly preferred
