As Quality Manager, you will lead the implementation of robust and impactful quality assurance and improvement processes across the College Group. Job Responsibility:
Lead on the development and implementation of an effective and impactful quality assurance system and quality improvement across the all provision types
Ensure that appropriate quality standards are set, reviewed and monitored and that appropriate action is taken to ensure full compliance
Act as an Awarding Body Nominee
lead monitoring visits within your colleges
ensure internal and external verification processes meet awarding body requirements and are effective
Keep up to date with external stakeholders changes within the sector for such as Ofsted, Department of Education
Support managers and teams to reflect on excellence and innovation in teaching, learning and assessment that lead to sustainable improvements and unmissable teaching and learning experiences for students
Ensure the development of the curriculum offer, introducing new curriculum where appropriate and responding to new initiatives
Develop and lead on internal curriculum reviews either as part of, or in addition to the quality cycle based on the Education Inspection Framework
Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement to achieve excellent success for all students
Analyse and report on statistical information to support and drive quality improvement
to notice and report emerging issues paying particular attention to equality, diversity and inclusion measures
Work with Information Services to ensure quality improvement processes are supported with timely and accurate data
Lead on all aspects of the quality cycle report on and respond to learners at risk and to support attendance, retention, achievement and a high grade using all mechanisms available
Lead on the development of effective mechanisms to develop, track and report on destinations and progression of learners
Contribute to staff development and work with appropriate teams to improve teaching, learning and assessment
Work as a Quality Specialist in an assigned group of qualifications or areas of expertise for improvement across CCG
Ensure the provision of effective information, assessment and guidance systems to ensure students, parents, carers and other stakeholders gain maximum benefit from the Chichester College Group (CCG) curriculum offer
Line manage the Quality Analyst
Requirements:
Considerable experience of managing a Team within FE which led to an improvement in achievement and the student experience
PGCE or Professional Educator Degree or Level 3 Degree
Considerable experience of problem solving and analysis in relation to Teaching, Learning and Assessment leading to quality improvements
Significant experience of working within an educational environment in a management/supervisory level
Using knowledge of Teaching, Learning and Assessment to work with awarding bodies to advise and update Managers on assessment requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work with people at all levels
