Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Quality Manager! Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in the construction and real estate industry? Our client is looking for a dedicated QA to join their dynamic team on a temporary contract on the beautiful Isle of Grain, Medway. This is your chance to make a significant impact on a variety of exciting projects while collaborating with a talented group of professionals!

Job Responsibility:

Quality Planning: Develop and maintain site-specific quality assurance and quality control plans
Inspection & Testing: Supervise and conduct inspections and tests for materials, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet project requirements
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001 and BS 7671, as well as other relevant codes
Documentation Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date quality records, reports, and certification documentation
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and enhance processes
Training & Mentorship: Provide training to site personnel on quality standards and procedures
Problem Resolution: Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Safety Integration: Align quality processes with health and safety standards, contributing to a safe working environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within Construction
Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (ISO 9001, BS 7671, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and systematic problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and engage with stakeholders
Proficiency in quality documentation and reporting tools
